Poetry Night at The Artist’s House
Join us for an inspiring evening of poetry, stories, and community.
This month on April 17th, we are celebrating the book launch of Bill Morrow’s newest poetry collection, Kitsue Tea
Bill will host the evening and open the night with readings from his new work. Afterward, the microphone will be open for poets who would like to share their own writing.
Whether you’re a poet, a writer, or simply someone who loves listening to beautiful words — you are warmly invited.

Writing
Take the time to look behind the door
That, afterall, is the space without windows
Enter that space without the windows,
where the only landscape is the one
you carry on your back.
Look behind the door
for the thing you overlooked-
a soft touch of a lovers wrist
on a spring night.
Author’s Biography
Bill Morrow has spent a lifetime seeking light. He is an Applied Physicist whose seminal thesis on “Correlation Spectroscopy” developed mathematical tools and instrumentation to use light to measure atmospheric gases. Over more than 50 years, he has created new tools to measure atmospheric constituents from orbit, assist measuring Relativistic warping of space, characterize the spectra of Femtosecond lasers, deactivate airborne virus, and simulate the synthesis of organic materials on the Jovian Moon, Europa.
Now, in his twilight, his poetry reaches for the light between atoms, stars, moons, and us. While he has written poetry since his youth, this is his first formal publication in the genre.
