Mixed Media: Techniques & Storytelling in Art

Mixed Media Magic: Explore, Layer, Create
Join us Thursday evenings from October 16 to November 6, 6:30–8:30pm, for a four-week journey into the vibrant world of mixed media art. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to combine acrylic paints, texture, layering, collage, image transfers, and thoughtful composition to tell your own story through painting.

Each week, we’ll explore a new technique in a personal mixed media sketchbook—a space for experimenting, practicing, and letting your ideas unfold. By the end of the series, you’ll complete a finished piece on a wooden panel board, ready to display.

Whether you’re brand new to mixed media or looking to deepen your skills, you’ll find a warm, supportive atmosphere that encourages creative discovery, confidence, and joy in your own artistic voice.

Materials Required: Mixed media sketchbook
